It might be considered overprocessed, but too busy? Im betting if you saw the originals there would be the same number of books. Im really curious what you mean by too busy. Does that mean that you should never shoot a room with more than 1 book? In my opinion this is a great shot and you call it too busy. Wow.

The busy-ness I'm perceiving isn't related to the over-processing, I should have clarified they were two separate observations.

When you shoot thousands of tiny objects next to each other it is best shown large like at 40" this would look amazing.

But reduced down to a few inches here its just a mess of tiny squares that I can't make out. It's a dizzying affair for my eyes and I can't figure out what to focus on.

Just my opinion.

At 2,000px or larger I could defintely see this as my wallpaper. I just think it's hard to appreciate it at small size. A lot to look at here.

Well forums like this and all the rest restrict photo size to small dimensions. Its kind of funny because its a forum to look at photos, but photos that are too small to see properly.
