Not sure how to handle the ghosting, it might be due to the movement of the flags. I do like the concept and think that it came out nicely.

I don't know beans about HDR processing so I have nothing to offer as a suggestion. I do have functioning eyes and know when I'm looking at something pleasant. This is a pleasant picture. Your concept and execution is great. I for one am not put off by the flags, especially given the patriotic sort of theme here. That sculpture is sobering, considering the state of world affairs. I find the monument thought provoking much as its depiction. Some how I see a similarity in it to the closing scene of the original Planet of the Apes.
