GTCU #1914

AER 01 3027 E1 WS.jpg

This is a familiar item, I spoze truly universally so.
Acoarst, it's introduced in as unfamiliar a manner
as possible for your opening image clue. Altho it's
familiar, it's not generally encountered every day.

It has no specific "theater of operation". Not tied
to kitchen, office, garage, etc.

It fits in a bread box. I can't answer any questions
about what it's made of cuz that material is a part
of its common name ... so let that last point serve
as a hint in itself

Soft focus, not soft material .... plus, I'll
remind players that the mystery subject
is "not generally encountered every day".

I perceive a piece of vinyl with a puncture wound indicating a light source beneath the tile. Of course everyone knows what THAT defines!

A drive-by at a flooring tile shop ?

Anywho, there is no puncture.

What you see is not a puncture.
The lighting may look that way,
but no puncture.

Here's another view:

It doesn't look exactly like a frosting bag, but then, rarely do bits of Mystery Objects look recognizable.
