GTCU #1907

No need to waste any replies asking if it's
perforated metal ... yes it is. Prolly fits in
breadbox. I'm not really sure about what
it's called, but I do know what it does. So
when someone figgers out what it is, I'll
accept either its function alone, or name
plus function ... cuz you can name it but
if I don't know its name, how will I know
that you've won ?

Is it one of these?

I don't know what this is or what it does, but maybe you can tell me.
It has holes in it too.

Does your Mystery Object sift, strain or measure?

Looks like vent holes in the back of a piece of electronic equipment, but that function is usually achieved with lighter and cheaper material. It might also be an acoustical screen, but those usually have a black finish and have smaller holes than this. Not much else to be gleaned from this image.

Waaaay cool object ! Maybe you shoulda saved it for
YOUR next mystery object ... if somehow you coulda
ID'd it or found out its purpose Nice holes, too ...

Soap dispenser or fabric softener dispenser, for dish
washer or clothes washer ? Blue and/or green color
is often used for an impression of cleanliness. There
is no functional reason that TidyBowl should be blue
or that hospital scrubs should be green. Well OK the
green is a cool contrast with blood, but then why do
butchers wear white ?

The mystery object for this round does not measure,
sift, or strain.

Never been there to see that. But this is not
any sort of religious item.

And so the initial clue image holds tight to the
tradition of inscrutable mysterious uselessness.
