Hey! There's still The Mystery Hole that needs explaining. Where is it? I don't see a hole on the "hat reveal". Maybe it's a place to hang the hat on a hook? The hole was presented as a visual clue and remains as an unsolved mystery.

I think the hole is the oval-ish hole in the fuzzy furry
lining where you can see thru to the woven exterior
material. I suspect it's part of the design thaz meant
to allow any humidity to escape from the above the
wearer's head when skiing uphill or other exertion.

There is a hole in each ear flap, which may indeed be for the wires to small earpieces to pass through the hat. The entire earpiece would have to pass through the hole if this is their purpose, meaning that the earpieces couldn't be much more than about half an inch in diameter. The holes are too far to the rear to show up in the final image.
