So You Want to Be a Pro

This is a new group being formed and I am very excited about it. This is being initiated for a number of reasons. There has been a call from the administrators to somewhat revitalize certain specialized boards. I took this directive as a good opportunity to try out something that I have been thinking about for a long time.
I am calling it “So you want to become a pro”! I am starting this here in a more generalized area because there are so many specialized forums and groups allready here and I wanted this to address the professional side of each major aspect of photography. In the time I have been on the Camel and other forums, I have seen many people say the would like to become a full time professional photographer but they address the subject as an unobtainable goal, a pipe dream, a fantasy, or a near impossibility. Well folks- there are no posting restrictions here but frankly speaking; this group is not for theses folks. This is not a place for so called “wana-bes” but for the photographers who are seriously thinking about starting a full or part time REAL business and those who want to turn their part time business into a full time one.
