YIKES!! I'm the first one to post a picture?? That makes me nervous!! I went out into the yard this morning and starting shooting everything and anything (including all 3 cats that were following me around, a mushroom growing up out of the dirt, the new green oranges on our baby orange tree... etc.) this was the best one... it's a flower bud of some sort (if you want I can post the picture of the flowers that were on another branch... so you can see what these will turn into) Anyways... here's my contribution.

p.s. there was no editing / retouching done on this photo, I just framed it (and I don't know how to get all the photo info to show up... but it's
F-stop: f/6.3 shutter: 1/160sec ISO: 200 Focal Length: 50mm Lens: 50.0mm f/1.4 no flash used

OK, here's mine, taken just over an hour ago. Nothing special, but haven't had a chance to get out anywhere interesting today.

Not quite 50mm, but 47mm is pretty close

This shows 'Amber' our new kitty (now twelve and a half weeks old) exploring the back garden.

I lined up the '50' with the white mark on my 24-105, and happily shot away about ten shots, only to find out it was on 47mm - Ah well what's 3mm anyway

I usually use 85 or 135mm for this sort of thing, to get a bit of distance on a 1.6x crop body. Using 50mm made me 'intrude' a lot more on kitty and it kept running off!

I wasn't planing on going out with my camera today but I did for a little while anyway just nearby around the house. I went barefoot too!

Here is my favorite of what I took.

OK...here are two from today..These were taken on my ancient Agfa Silette, which was my first "serious" camera...and it still works fine.
BUT....the lens is a fixed 45mm.. not a 50. Hopefully given these circumstances.....Cheers...Bob

Oh, and obviously no exif data....
