As a photographer, amateur as I may be...I like to use my photo's on my desktop as my background. I had seen this done somewhere else....
....though I won't say where so as not to incriminate myself but I wanted to see what everyone else had on their desktop. How about post 'em up for us all to see. Here's mine from work. I learned fairly recently by my mother that you could put more than one photo on your desktop and size them how you want and I thought it looked really cool. (For those who don't know how to do this...go to your desktop...hit your "print screen" button. Open up some kind of image editing program...start a new document and hit your paste button. It will plop the print screen from the clipboard to your new document. Then you can post it in your thread just like the photo's. I didn't know how to do this until about a year ago so I thought I'd offer up directions for those a little slower like me.... ) __________________

I'm not going to show mine now. It's way to cluttered.
Yours would make me look bad. Nice to see ya back Kris. You need to come around more often. |

Aw man....these are too cool. I love this kind of thread. And Florida...I'm gonna try to get around more soon once we get settled. We just bought our first house and we close next week so we'll be busy. I'll share photo's when we get in. And post your desktop...if it's messy, it just means you're a busy bee and a hard worker....(well, not neccessarily but we'll think that about you...

Graphic design, wanna be programmer (not really). Web design. Took first place in some web contest that Community Relations put me in for. I prefer my little hole back here under the stairs. They are going to accept the award.
And I do love Photo Impact. I have been using it since Version 6 and find it to be quite useful in many instances. The latest version is very nice. I really don't care which program I use as long as it gets the job done without a hitch. I still tend to like to code myself. This looks like it may become a thing of the past with Utilities such as Share Point. I guess that was said with WYSIWYG editors as well. I do like em for some tasks such as creating embedded tables and such. Good for CSS as well. |
