The desktop is what you see when your computer boots up, prior to what ever program you open.

...sorry for asking again, but 'boots-up', do you *have* to do that regularly?

...and I made PhotoCamel my homepage, and added FireFox to the startup-directory...

...so *if* it should ?shoes-up?, it's back on the Camel in no time!

You don't even have to hold shift in Windows. Just get your desktop the way you want it, hit, print screen (above arrow keys) and then go into whatever image editing software and paste it into a new document. Save it and upload it. Easy enough, right?

That is too funny Kris. I have worked in Computers for quite a few years and I always just used the shift key. I just tried it without and BAM I got it. Hey, that's one less button to click. I am a firm believer in short cut keys.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! You are tooooo funny! I'm lazy so I like the shortest, easiest route to the end. Glad I could offer something worthwhile with computers. Usually, I'm the one who screws them up and then takes two days to figure out how to get it back the way it was before I touched it.

It's about time OLD man. LOL! Let us know if you need some help with getting a new docuement and such to paste your desktop screenshot in. I'm sure there are other Picasa users here that could give you some guidance too...though I plan to get you over to Adobe PS, either Elements or CS2 before it's all said and done!!

If your use Alt-PrntScrn, you only capture the active window. Its nice for capturing dialog/error boxes.
