Wink Using "good old" Metz flashgun

Hello ,
I have a question please. I've read that digital cameras users should be careful in choosing flashguns. That is, flashes realize high voltage in the moment of shooting. It is advisable up to 5 volts , while some flashguns realize several hundreds volts. In the frame of this theme I am interesting is it OK to use good old and so strong Metz Metzablitz 45 CT1 on Fuji S100FS camera, and else digital cameras too? Thank you.

Apparently the Metz 45CT flashguns have a high sync trigger voltage and could damage your digital camera, however I think the Metz CL flashguns have a lower sync trigger voltage and may be compatable, But I would still use a Wein Safesync or buy a newer digital metz flashgun.

Thank you Visagephoto, I already seen the "Wein Antihigh voltage". Yes it i the best choice to buy a new digital flash which needs more "greens".

On context of my question, I will answer to myself.
I have already bouth The Nikon D40x - amazing camera, and use my goold and old ZMetz 45. (I didn't buy Fuji which I intended). And I put "anti/high voltage protection" which made for me a friend of mine. I must say, amazing result! I can use flashgun manually and in many combinations with other programs. I love this flashgun because it is enough strong so that I can combine its light.
I will maybe try to make mini reflector/diffuser to put it on a flashgun.
