Default a d300,5d, s5 comparison

snaked off dp. an interesting quick look at the pros of each camera.

I have got my D300 about 2 weeks ago and I decided to test it in Studio right away,at the side of my Fujifilm S5 and Canon5D
Those are 3 great cameras with their different qualities :

D300
Great AF
Wonderful resolution
Great body and features(like the fine tuning AF!!!)
Good high ISO performance
Nice color
Speed....

The S5
Unbelievable DR(there is no camera that gets even close to it)
Most beautiful color(even if not very accurate...)
Fantastic skin tones and tonality in general
Excellent body

The 5D
Great high iso performances
Great resolution
Nice color
Fair DR

Here some pics from a shooting with Anya using those 3 great tools

D300,S5,D5

All the pictures are posted straight out from LR 1.3.1,
thanks to all

Ettore

Default Re: a d300,5d, s5 comparison

More like personal comments than an actual comparison. Words like great, good, wonderful, nice, unbelievable, fair, etc. are subjective. The pictures are nice, though, but I'm not seeing where any of these cameras falls short of the others.
