i think that is due to the interpolation in the raw. whats nice here is you can post as much as you want. the pace is a little slower.
my daughter shoots my S2 in black and white only __________________

Kev, do you have the problem I have With my S2, the CR123 die quickly, even the rechargeable ones I have. So, I bought one of those Chinese made grips off of eBay that holds 4 AA batteries you take off the cr123 cover, and it slides up into the camera like a motor drive, has contacts on the end that slides up where the cr123s would normally make contact. Makes it look good, gives a longer grip, but I might get only 20 pictures off, maybe reviewing 10 of them, and the top battery indicator gives a low charge and you hear the tone it gives off when that happens, when you take the picture. I can still take about 10 more pictures before it quits writing to the card. Have tried 2 brands of rechargeable ones, same. Have you heard of a fix, maybe send to Fuji or......Thanks, Larry

my cr's last through 2 sets of AA's. i get about 400-500 pics per AA charge. i am thinking about the chinese grips as the cost of CR's is to much

Thanks for your reply, now I know how I should expect one to work. Think I'll sell mine for parts, as it has the F-- error as well, and get a really good S2 (mine is very well used). Going to keep the Chinese grip and try it on the next S2 I buy. Have a good one!

most often i see the continuous F-- error is a bent lens lever in the body. if you have a repair center close but, have them check that before scraping the body. KEH usually has a few S2's in stock
