My Fuji F710 died today...

I realize this is not the nonDLSR forum, but since this was the 3rd Fuji SR sensor camera made, which provided me with such a good service it's time for a little blurb.

3-4 years pretty much, heavy use. It died of the "Fuji sensor death curse". Everything else works. I do think this is a Fuji quality control issue but since I used it so much during that time I am not particularly angry. I'll try to see if Fuji Japan can service it (doubtfull). And I watched it die. Sensor gets this weird TV distortion then all black, forever.

I contacted Fuji worldwide and in turn got contacted by Fuji repair USA to offer, to ship to Japan for repair. They don't mention any cash, but I am following up with them. I'll keep everyone posted.

Hi, I know this post was a long time ago, but I thought it might help other users. I also had a similar problem with Fuji (Zoom-Error) but recently I found a great tech support that helped me fix my problem free of charge. They also have free live tech support!
