I've got this loaded right now - cool pic. I think you might get more takers if you put this in the Before and After category. I don't have a Fuji, but that doesn't really matter.
I do have a question, can you give me an idea of the color when you shot this? I have my own ideas on how I want to deal with it, but I'd like to know how far off I am from "as seen." |

This is the first version. I decided to tone down the warmness of the image, without making it too unreal. I messed with the raw settings, there is a snippet of the relevent xmp data below. After conversion, I cleaned up the noise, and ran a light first pass of sharpening. Then I brought up the luminance of the boats about a stop, and a very slight lightening of the water. There were three goobers - one looked like it might have been a jet? - and they were patch tooled. I used TLR Creative sharpen for just the De-Haze filter. Outside of high pass on the resize for the web for sharpening, that's it. The full size version has a different level of sharpening applied.
xmp (raw settings): Code:

there is not much i dont like. the left side is a nice shade of blue, almost tungsten in color. you kept the edges sharp while filling it out as a silhouette. the detail around the sun seems to be increased, yet the color is true. i think this wouldhave been hard to beat.
