latest S4 rumor

this almost seems a done deal. like all rumors, i will wait and see.

Met with the Fuji factory rep today and he confirmed that S4 will be shown at Photokina and later at the New York show. He said that no one knows any details about the camera besides the fact that its based on a modified F100 body similar to the D200 and will be available by end of this year or early next year.

seems almost to perfect for me. it is possible that Fuji got enough f100 bodies before Nikon dropped them. or Nikon made enough blanks of the d200 for Fuji.

I think it could be simply that Fuji is hirin Nikon to make custom bodies for them. I mean, as long as cash comes in, why not right?

Which means I am afraid that this camera will cost as much as the S3.

What's your bet on resolution? I am betting on 8 megapixels Super CCD SR, or 12 megapixels Super CCD HR type for an S3 class price. Super CCD SR 10-12 megapixels for S3 price at first + $500-$1,500 USD.

i think a $2500-3500 price pont

at least a 10/10 as high as 13.5/13.5 for crop and a 12/12-18/18 FF

i dont think fuji will drop the ball again on speed. if they do, its over for them
