Default Color (e-330)

This is part of the homework I need to get ready for this Saturyday- Color....

I don't think I have really found the subjects I want to try color contrast and other related theories, but I still like some of these...
As always, critique away...

Certainly eye-popping colour. I prefer the first one with the clean separation of colours and stark shadows. Was this just a case of playing around with saturation after the shot, or did you apply anything in-camera to help to saturate the image?

It's all 100% out of the camera jpeg. I just set it to vivid mode then cranked the saturation + 2. It may be too much so.. I"ll try just using vivid next time and see how it looks. My teacher told me the problem is when it comes to printing it... it's too hard or won't print too well.
