Default White Balance

New to the E-300 myself. What is the best way to set the white balance in the manual mode for this camera?

Custom WB setting (or set it up as the shortcut button).

Hold white card in front of camera, fill FOV, hit the Custom button, release shutter, Custom WB saved.

Or you could go into the part of the menu that allows you to adjust the individual WB settings if you're sure of the K value you want. I know I changed the one for 2500 into 2800 and it works perfectly for my indoor shooting around the house since all the lights are pretty much the same.

Default In my opinion its the EXPO/DISC

I have found with the E-1 the best way to set a custom WB is with the EXPO/DISC. I know they are a little high in price but to me they are well worth it.

With a white card you are just getting the WB set to the light that is hitting the card, with the E/D you get all of the light that is in the area. This is really great when you have mixed light in a room or outside.
