Default New Pro camera on the horizon

According to Dpreview Olympus is working on the next release to replace the E-5.....there is little info yet to be specific....but they plan on releasing more info soon.

Its probably going to be something like an OMD with better focusing for the 4/3 lenses, maybe PDAF on the chip or some other method. Chances are it won't be as big as your 5D3, maybe not even as big as the current e5.

We'll just have to wait and see.

If true ( and that remains to be seen) it is to little to late as to many have left the FT camp while waiting, and one body in a blue moon is not going to entice them back.

It may placate the die hard dedicated owners and at the same time help shift some of that Pro glass inventory that has been languishing on Olympus's shelves because of lack of confidence in the system.

Call me suspicious but I think the later has more to do with it.
