the use of a polarizer may have reduced the haze and sharpened the distance better. What are the large dark objects in the foreground?

Thanks for the suggestion but I was going for the hazy mood of the mountains. I have added contrast on one attempt and did not like it so went back to original. Those large dark images in the foreground are rocks, large rocks.

If that is what floats your boat......also the large dark objects (rocks) looked like they could have been something else.

Hi Paul - Just thought I'd thank you for today's lunch entertainment. While eating I very much enjoyed slide shows in your portrait, landscape, and birds zenfolio galleries. You've some wonderful "eye candy" so I must say it made for a nice desert .... THANKS
