Default My mft walk-around lens

The Panasonic 20mm f1.7 pancake lens arrived a week ago, and it hasn't been off my camera since. It gives a 40mm FOV on MFT, which I find to be wonderfully versatile. Here's a few samples from my e-pl2 + 20/1.7 combo.

That's a beauty, Max. How many megapixels?

The Voigtlander 40/2 is my favorite walk-around lens on full frame (d700), so it makes sense that 20mm appeals on a 2X crop factor platform.

Great pictures there, looks like a very versatile lens to use.

Yes, µFT has now nice primes, beside my zooms I have the 12mm 2.0, the 20mm 1,7 and the 45mm 1.8. I'm waiting for the 75mm 1.8 to add some reach. I can walk around with just the 12mm on my camera, it really depends, what you are looking for, for extreme wide angle I can add my 7.5mm Samyang - and your bag is still a small and lightweighted one
