The first one is enticing. Where is the lake?

I like your composition and subjects, however it seems the WB is off on a couple of those shots (greenery doesn't look so green / more bluish). Were these in RAW or JPEG? A little PShop work would tidy them up greatly!

The photos look pretty normal to me in terms of colors. My CRT is calibrated with spyderpro2 and I'm running at 6500K not the default which I think is 9300K (which I think makes things look bluer). I've read that in general folks tend to prefer warmer pics but I'm not sure I'm one of them (my d70 tends to run warm compared to the e-300). I tend to like things a bit oversaturated relative to reality (reality can be a bit dull at times). I guess the great thing about shooting RAW is that you can always go back and play with the white balance whenever you want. I think the e-1 has an external wb sensor so I'd imagine it's generally pretty accurate?
I think you get to make some artistic choices with digital and don't always have to be slavish to reality (to the extent that any camera can accurately capture what your eyes see anyway and of course we all have different eyes). __________________
