Default A few new shots playing with the new lens...

Comments/critique most welcome. These were raw captured, two have tonal range adjustments, the B&W conversion is the standard Olympus stuff except for the one with the clouds, which has been also cropped.

Looks like you're really enjoying the (extreme) wide angle perspective. Very spectacular!

I specially like the tree shot (#2). I suspect your friend is assembling some Ikea furniture, which (at times) can put a frown on your face

The B/W conversion of the cloud in the dark sky stands out. I suspect however that I would have preferred it in landscape to emphasize the lonely road a bit.

Great stuff! Cheers, Sean.

That is very scary indeed. That is *exactly* what he was doing. We actually have a big Ikea store in Burbank right within 2 miles from our workplace, so we do buy office stuff from there. How did you guess!!!!??!

Thanks Sean. I have the original, I can try that too. I find myself doing a lot of portrait shots for landscapes... I guess may be my style? I had a discussion about it with a photographer friend of mine... he always pointed it out.. to me I have to get all those layers I guess

I also like the tree shot. Thanks for the comments.

- Raist

PS: You do have the F1.4 Panny-Leica lens right? I am supposed to get it tomorrow. I really want to test that in low light...

I've been in the Ikea-face-frown situation myself before, haha! I would say you captured it very well, otherwise I wouldn't have guessed

The PanaLeica 25 is really ice - you'll love it! With live-view we can focus it perfectly wide open - and it's certainly sharp enough.

Cheers, Sean.
