Question Natural or vivid

I'm just curious, whats the difference between the natural or vivid setting? I have an E500. Is it just in camera sharpening?

Vivid has more saturated color and the contrast goes up a bit I believe. Use Vivid when you want that more "Fuji Velvia" saturaed look (doesn't quite look like Velvia)- probably more like Kodak Ektachrome or such (if that's the "saturated Kodak film')

I read somewhere that 'natural' is aimed more at European tastes and 'vivid' is more in tune with North American tastes. Probably complete baloney of course .

I'll go shoot some natural and vivid shots with my e3 and try to post them. Nothing fancy.
