Looking good, thanks for sharing. You should post some of these in the Birds forum. Amazing range on that lens in 35mm terms - a 600mm lens that's almost pocketable .

Have you got any shots with this lens Paul? I'm thinking it would make a great lightweight and quite cheap combo with the E-400.

Paul, what with bad weather, flue then xmas I have been out once with this lens and took a dozen shots with it, I have posted seven off them here for you, nothing to shout about though and all handheld snaps. http://www.flickr.com/gp/86651682@N00/U0428g

Initial impression is that it is better than the 40-150mm which is a good lens in its own right.

Dear me, I've just pressed that wicked button while reading this thread! Just a moment ago I thought I'd safely sailed through Christmas without buying a lens.

Anyway, this will be my last lens!

LOL. We all say that.... I had a senior moment last night and also clicked the wicked button for a 35-100mm. I've calculated that if I sell my old phone, a couple of lenses that I don't need any more, and some old microphones that are also just sitting on the shelf then it'll pay for itself.

Isn't it great how we justify these things? Have a great time with that lens. I can see myself getting it one day. Very flexible, relatively cheap and nice and light.
