Default E-3 RAW files....

Some guy at dpreview has posted a link to full downloadable ISO 800,1600,3200 ORF files. You need the latest Master or Studio (preferably) patch to see them. You can see how the Shadow Adjustment Tech works (SAT) by setting the gradient to the AUTO option.

raw.fotosite.pl - RAW samples from Olympus E-3 ZD 12-60 f2.8-4

My verdict- a step (small) forward from the 410/510, seems to have Good DR (hard to tell without really seeing the subject), seems to hold color well at higher ISO's.

ISO sub par to 40D and probably D300 but not something I would consider horrible- recoil in fear in a corner.

For me personally the obstacles so far are: lack of fulltime "real-time" live view (like L10/E-330), size/weight.. we'll see...

PS: Guy is called " cra3y". *Apparently* from Poland?

You can download Master 2 for free, though you don't get tweakability of the noise setting
