Default Olympus e-10: whither?

Who still has one of these cameras? Still in use?

I still use mine. Mostly for shooting products that I sell on ebay. I bought mine as a manufacturer's refurb for around $650 a little over 2 and a half years ago, and it's still selling for over $400 on the used market today. Which means that it's held it's value MUCH better than any other digital camera I've ever bought. It's still competitive with anything that can be bought for under $500 complete with lens, mainly because it's lens is great, and fast, and a 4MP with a great lens is probably better than a 6 MP with a mediocre lens for most purposes - plus, the shutter latency is very short, close to a pro DSLR, at least for the first couple of shots - better still than most of today's consumer digicams.

I did just move to a used Kodak DCS-760 for my serious work (That was an $8000 camera 4 years ago when it came out, and nowadays, it can be gotten used for $1000-1200). This camera is built on a Nikon F5 chassis, and it uses all of my great old Manual Focus Nikkor AI and AIS glass without missing a beat. That last issue is why I never sprung for an Nikon D100 or D70. I actually bought the E-10 as a holding action for when there was a Nikon DSLR body that I could both afford and would use my AI and AIS Nikkor glass. Nikon still hasn't supported that feature in any of their pro-sumer DSLRs, and now finally, the D1x and DCS-760 have come down in price to the level I was looking to spend on a top notch DSLR (just a bit over $1K). At the time that I bought my E-10 for $650 as a MFR refurb, a used D1x or DCS-760 would have cost me nearly $3K. So, while My E-10 has dropped only a few hundred dollars or so in value in those past 2.5 years, those Nikon mount pro DSLRs have dropped over $1500 of their value, to the point that I could buy one.

Not one E-10 but 2 complete systems and in regular use.
I've yet to see a need for me to upgrade my system as both cameras work as intended and work exactly the same way they did when I purchased them.
The kit includes:
E-10 (2)
Lipo (2)
TCON 14B
TCON 300B
WCON 08B
MCON
SA1 for 300
SA2 for 300
Cable Remote
FL-40 (2)
Wireless remote
Off camera flash cord (Olympus brand) (2)
Stroboframes (2)
Stofen Omni Bounce
Lightsphere II
Memory - CF 5gb total
At this time, I don't feel the need for anything else.
