Default EP-2 eyecup

Anyone got one? I sometimes find it hard to see clearly in daylight with the one that comes with the E-1. I'm thinking this would help - although I wear glasses. It's also comfortably within my monthly gear-slutz budget

Hi Paul, I have 3, one one each camera and a spare and wouldn't be without them, they keep all stary light from getting in.

I keep the spare as I have already lost 2!!!!!.

If you get one, fasten it on with a touch of nail glue or similar as they come of very easily.

I have one. Haven't lost it yet or even had it come off. Seems to stick on really well. Even though I don't where glasses I like the eyel-cup a lot. Keeps out outside light much better then the regular eye-cup.

Cool. I think I'll break the bank and get one - will cost me 50% more than the funky old Linhof tripod/head I recently got on ebay though... Oly prices can be silly at times.

Very useful info, thanks. I've shopped around and got the price down from $53 ( ) to $33. Time to break open the piggy bank.

I could not live without this eyecup 2. It is 25.00 USD at B and H. Postal Priority Mail is under 5.00 bucks or batch it with your next order as I do, UPS to Hawaii can be most unnerving to anyone.
On outrageous price of accessories. Well, this is debatable. Some small items, like the off shoe cable with the strange numerical description is not only over fifty bucks but is not solidly designed. I would like to see the accessories made to the same standards as the camera body(s) Wouldn't you? But eyecup two fits very well, has a piece of coated glass insert and seems to be made from the latest polymeric rubber, and the bayonet fitting is almost loss proof (compare Canon T90--ever see one used with eyecup? LOL)

Got one delivered today (together with my second Tamron 90mm f/2.5 macro ). Only a small spend in the great scheme of things, but the 50-200mm is now looming large on the horizon

Just like the American Express card, I don't leave home without it. It doesn't look like it would do much. Looks are deceiving. Try it, you will like it. Bill Barber

I do find it better than the standard issue - particularly for night shots. Still a bit of pain for spectacle wearers like myself.
