Wonder why not for the US market? Camera looks quite cute and would probably make a good first DSLR for those looking at getting into this area. I can't get on with such small cameras myself though. Tried the 350D in a shop once and really didn't like the feel of it. I like a more robust body that balances nicely with a good hefty lens (like a Zuiko 7-14mm or 85L).

Guess we know what the "miniature attack" is now.
Argh, no US release. I would have given this a serious consideration, despite the fact that I haven't really liked the way some of the lower-end Olympus cameras have felt recently. While I like big cameras for balance (D2H, etc.), I also like/have a need for smaller cameras, and this would have fit the bill nicely. Guess I should start looking around for grey imports, or just keep saving up for that Leica M8. LOL |

Heh heh, no problem. At least it wasn't like the Nikon models or Canon models, which get minimum three or four threads everytime there's a new one.
