The tilt shift lens is great for food. If you can, watch some videos on food photography. They usually have a lot of good ideas and suggestions. Its a niche onto itself. It's interesting to not only see the photography tips but also watching what the food stylists do.

Except for the color of the wax paper this looks great. The stix look huge but proportionate because of the dipping sauce. Makes me want to eat some because they look big and it appears they gave me enough sauce to go with it and it doesn't fool me into thinking the stix are 8 inches long and they gave me 32 oz of sauce. Color on the wax paper and go darker background on this one. Every person that drinks will go for this in a dark setting.
Great job.

I really like dark settings for food. I don't recall if I changed the set for this item. Also in retrospect, I think I should have broken the lead stick and pulled it apart. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Check it out. Large format cameras have the ability to tilt, shift and swing. Hugely beneficial in combating distortions and perspective. Also gives the photographer power to adjust the plane of focus. Just too cool for school.

You might checkout Outback Steakhouse images on Google. I would think their marketing department would have researched image style and framing for what sells. I took a peek and now I am planning to go there soon.
