Praktica tl1000 series

Hi
New here by the way
I buy a lot of canon a1s and used nikons off ebay,
I bought a mint praktica tl 1000 last week and was going to attempt to reseal the thing and noticed it has no evidence of ever having a mirror cushion
it appears to me they came factory new like that, may be wrong
Did they produce these bodies without a mirror cushion?

Sorry I'm not familiar with the Praktica tl, so I can't give you a direct answer. Perhaps another member will come up with the info.

just seems strange that the mirror is bouncing off the focus screen with no signs of a cushion pad or a way to install one

While I'm not sure if it came with foam in the mirror box or not, I know for a fact that nothing bad will happen without it. In fact, having no foam there is better than having sticky foam, as it will make your mirror stick (and if your mirror won't come down, the shutter won't either, hence, you have a big problem)
