Default Fed,Industar -filter?

Hi everyone,
I've just bought a Fed 2 (D6) camera with the Industar 26M lens and wondering if it would take any filter with the same (40.5mm) mount or is there anything special about 'Russian lens thread mounts'? Thanks, any help'll be appreciated,
david

I use the 40.5mm filters on my Industar 61 and Jupiter 8.

They can be a bit fiddly to put on, though, so I'm not sure if the thread pitch is exactly the same, or if my filter rings have been banged/dented along the way.

Thanks Ken,
that's about what I've found out so far. I guess it's just a matter of time to find the filter which also has the outside diameter of 42mm so my lens cap and hood would fit on as well. Not to mention that the reason why probably most people don't use uv filter is because the lens is already prone to flairing and with the extra filter, well.. -still it's better to protect the front element..
Thanks again

Oh give us a review of that FED, as an alternative to insanely priced Leica RF I also thought the FEDs looked nifty
