I used to use one at a community college back about 13-14 years ago. The best use for it (for me) was developing 4 x 5 negatives. I think I only did B/W negatives though. C-41 process was a pain in the hiney. I always loved processing my own B/W film, but I was just as satisfied to send my color film off somewhere then print my own 8 x10s after someone else had did the hard part. Never tried to develop E-6, but my teacher did in the Jobo and had good success.

E-6 and especially C-41 aren't any harder than B&W. The only difference is the temperature thing. B&W is very forgiving on temperature.

I ended up getting a Jobo CPP-2 with lift off the APUG classifieds board (see, marketplace boards do work!) and it should be here soon. I'm going to use it primarily for 4x5 development. I've got some Velvia I want to try out in large format.

I got my CPP-2 from FedEx today. It is HUGE! The seller included three print drums, so when I get to printing, I'm all set there. I'll have to post a pic of it later. It is way bigger than I expected. The box was the size of a small refrigerator. I got a good deal on it, especially if you count by the inch!
