I got my first roll back from Wal-Mart today. I shot a cartridge of Kodak Ultra 400. I am impressed. The prints look very nice, and you would be hard-pressed to tell they weren't from a 35mm camera. The only problem is they are scanned at 4x6 aspect ratio, so some of the picture is cut off. The 110 is more like a 4x5 ratio. I'll ask them next time to print the whole frame if they can.
All in all, an exciting camera. It is tiny and can deliver good shots. Now I need a few more accessories! Here's a pic of the Cain's Ballroom. I did a little noise reduction and levels to make it match the print. The picture is from the scan provided by Wal-Mart. So, whatcha think? Pretty cool to me. Bob ![]() __________________

Hey, that is WAY better than I thought that little mighty-mo Pentax would produce. Looking at the images of the little camera gave me some doubts, but the proof is in the pudding. And it has a really nice film-look to it too boot.
Great gamble on the whole outfit and the tests. |

Cool! Comes out nice, doesn't it
![]() This should make a very good portrait camera. You'd always have genuinely smiling faces, because everyone would find the camera so cute! Cheers, Sean. |

Interesting thought...and not a bad one at all. He should give that a go. Would make for a very nice "street camera" since people who get into the "street shooting scene" want small and discreet. Doubt you can get much smaller and keep the quality up there.

Nobody would be intimidated by the Auto 110! I scanned all the negs in so I could get a better idea of how the camera did. Still very impressive. Here are a few more from the scans.
I think the key is getting the camera to recognize that it is iso 400. The newer cartridges don't have the cut-out for higher iso anymore, so I had to do it manually. It adds to the charm I think! Bob ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Not too sure about the middle one as far as an image goes. The other two are nice. I agree the last one is pretty good stuff for an easily pocket-able film camera....
