FED Repairs - PhotoCamel

I have two FEDs in need of repairs. The first is a Fed 2 that needs the shutter cutains replaced and a CLA. The other is a Fed 1 that I recieved as a basket case, even the lens has been taken apart. It needs shutter curtains as well. Aside from Oleg in the Ukraine, is there anyone else working on these(for reasonable cost)?

WELCOME TO THE CAMEL. And welcome to the film camera forum.

Sorry I can't answer your question. However my guess is that you could buy two FEDs in good working condition in the used camera market for much less than the cost of repair.

Thanks for the welcome,Mike. I've been standing in the shadows for quite awhile. As for the Feds, I have real money in only one of them, so I can afford overhauls.
