Default Lens removal?

I have some old Olympus OM filters and the insides of the lenses are dirty. I have an Olympus Multistar filter and i was wondering how to get at those lenses inside. Do I need a tool? Thank you

Yes you need a tool, its called a filter wrench. It grips the filter without disturbing the lens portion.
