Hi i am new to SLR photography and i use a old pentax me super.
I am 14 and i am currently taking photography for a GCSE. I was wondering if there was a place I could buy lenses and other items that would fit on a me super. I have searched all over and can't find any easily accessible.

KEH is a fabulous place to get stuff for older cameras. Don't be afraid of "Bargain" lenses, as their glass will be just fine and they'll work perfectly. I've never bought a bargain body, but I heard that those are best avoided (while they will work, they may also need some work)- though I just bought a camera to work on from eBay. =)

It's nearly 3 months since you first posted your question, but I've found the following link to be very useful in deciding which Pentax lenses to especially search for... http://stans-photography.info/LongComments.html

It gives insight from many photographers around the world on a comprehensive list of K-Mount Pentax lenses.

Did you eventually get hold of any lenses?* I did a search on Google for "second hand pentax site:uk" and hit a lot of sites, too many to list here without checking them all out.

Stick your nose into camera stores' second hand section, there are plenty of K mount lenses out there.* Try junk stores and car boots / flea markets too.* You'll get some absolute bargains there.* I bought a 28mm f2.8, 50mm f1.4 and a 200mm f2 all in the last year from the poshest of camera stores to the tattiest second hand markets.* These are to use with my Sigma SD9, but I'm thinking of getting an MX to carry around with me.

I found a 28mm in a charity shop for 50p, and it was in fairly good condition
