Stay with the pro films and you will be pleased. And in Kodak that is Portra for negative film. This is Kodak Porta 400NC. There are different film reviews from my shooting on my blog on my website.

What ever became of Kodak VPS, Vericolor III ISO 160 rated at 100?

Or am I showing more age than just the gray in my hair?

Color neg: Kodak 100 & 400UC. Blows everything else away.

B/W: Fuji Neopan 400CN & Ilford XP-2. Both are C-41 process films.

Songman, the last roll of VPS I shot was around '94-'96.It was discontinued around that time.I rated mine at ISO 125.I never had a problem w/the blue cast some people talked about.I currently use Kodak 160 VC and 400VC.I have shot the 100 and 400UC.Unbelieveable saturation and fine grain.

Vericolor was unsurpassed in its ability to push it to any ISO you wanted to use. with gorgeous color reproductions in exacting detail.

It was made originally to match the original subject in color prints and it was a favorite for photographers that had to match paintings and other art work.

It had an extremly wide latitude. both for over and underexposures.

what does that body builder ? have in his pants ?? (chuckle) it looks like he has a bic lighter !!
