Default Actual Fashion with Kyha

Did this shoot as a TF favor to Kyha and her new business partner. The idea here was to actually sell the clothes.

Not sure how we did but I kept telling her DO NOT connect with the camera or nobody will notice anything but you. LOL

...imo some really good shots, but you really needed to get away from all those bricks! Just to busy and definitely fought with the clothes for attention. Also notice in #6 how the coat lapel folds over the necklace, small detail maybe, but important I think in a fashion shot. Me being a wildlife shooter and all commenting on fashion! LOL

Ah man... good advice on connecting with the camera, which worked, mostly. You got to get away from that door. The light blue color competes and distracts. The brown door isn't a lot better, but at least it is brown. The brick wall doesn't help in fashion, as tight as it in to the model. Get farther away from most things. best one is probably #9 because it has minimal background and some good separation, blur.

Sounded harsh when I re-read it, but you know how I mean it.

Nice series. #3 for me. I think the bricks are fine but would be better with some bokeh.

Well, this is a really nice series Bilsen… The third really popped for me as I scrolled along…I guess that door doesn’t bother me, and I think it is because the elegance of it is quickly absorbed so it does not linger as a distraction in my view… Her eyes are really the ‘distraction’ in number 4, but I’m not sure that is a bad thing LOL.
The bricks are kind of busy but they work better with the casual clothing of 1 and 2 than the more elegant stuff in 5 and 7. I think a bit of blur would hold the business of the bricks at bay. Blue door works for me with the clothing of 10, but not so much 6, 8 and 11.
I’m with Pickles - #9 is best IMO.
Hope this was helpful.
