The first one seems like a conversation. I think it is a good image, but also think she blends to darkness quick and is not the focus. I think the drink is the focus, with it brightness and greenness. But while she is more dark and not lit enough (to my taste anyway), her chest below her necklace is really bright, so that seems odd.

The 2nd one is a nice tight portrait, with what seems like a shallow depth but there is enough there to keep the majority in soft focus.

Did you take these with a slow shutter? I don't know, for me there doesn't seem to be anything in focus in either image.
