Not what I meant at all (that a year ago it was "bad")

Just the new stuff is so much better! All the little elements that one picks up over time, it all adds up in the end...

Chucklyman- Am I the only one who reflexively reads your screen name as "chuckly man"? I always get a happy feeling when I see a post from you... Thanks for the kind words, the Goths have sort of invaded my life recently. Much as it galls me to admit, I'm looking forward to getting back to black and whites.
Jay- Thanks, the backdrops are a happy accident of seamless paper and limited hot lights. I love the sharp falloff, so I'll just pretend it was by design...
