Finally got some opportunity to play around in the newly renovated studio:

Looks to be coming along nicely to me. I think the first three (and especially #3) seem to have a washed appearance to them. Like a contrast is off. By design or is it me? The rest are very nice.

Seems I need to click the banner to make them the 900 pixel version to make them a bit better in appearance (compression with the auto-down sizer here)

Very good looking shots. And I like the split tones. Can you quickly talk about how you lit the backgrounds on the first 3?

Hi,

Yes Mr P. it is 'by design'.

I used the Octa as only lightsource, background, hairlight at fairly high power.

I really like #4 and #2. 1 and 2 would look really good as a desktop background.
