From a Nikon workshop for the D80

I really like the first one. Even though the light coming through the window is strong, the shot has been captured well and the control is good.

The second one is a little harsher for my taste. The strong highlight inside the bend of her arm and on the right side of her hair (left side in photo) I guess caused a little underexposure? It looks like you've boosted the exposure or fill light in post and the skin looks a little noisy to my eye. The noisiness (if that''s a word) detracts from the shot. Perhaps I'd run some noise reduction on it and soften the skin a bit to compensate.

Overall, I think I'll have to book me a trip to a Nikon workshop.
