Some photos from a recent shoot with Julie, I wrote about it a little in my blog http://ernierice.blogspot.com/ if you are interested.

Really nice work, well done. I like the angle used in #3.

Very nice series.

#1: Delightful pose and expression. She looks like she knows what she's doing in front of the camera.

#2: I wish I could see a little more detail in the dark dress. Also be careful about the legs - she looks a tiny bit knock-kneed

#3: This is a wonderful shot. Nice camera angle and perspective. The body is evenly lit with good facial coverage and nice highlights in the eyes.

#4: My only complaint here is that her back and hips bulge out of those tight jeans. Perhaps having her open them in front would eliminate the unflattering bulges.

#5: The loose-fitting top makes her look wide. Perhaps having her straighten up a bit insitead of leaning forward so much would make her look less heavy. Also her eyes are very dark.

Many of these comments are nits, so don't get discouraged - you have an eye for composition and have good lighting.

Thanks, Winnie. I like that one also.

I'm not discouraged a bit softfocus, I appreciate the input. This was her first session in front of a camera, she really surprised me. As to her being knock kneed, I think what you are seeing are muscles, I had her flex for those. Her muscle tone is amazing, as you can see from the halter top and jeans photo... we are going to do some fitness photos in the near future.

Thanks again for the input, and here's another.

All the photos look great and I really like the expression in #1. She just looks as if she is having a great time.

hahaha... I think she was having a great time after we got started, but she was so nervous the night before she didn't sleep well and was throwing up that morning...we started shooting a 10am. I put a trashcan to camera right for her to throw up in if she needed to. We shot for about 10 min and I showed her some of the photos on the back of the camera and she visibly relaxed and was OK. Chalk one up for the benefits of digital.

Models seem to like the instant gratification of digital.

I have also used it to show them why I am asking something and immediately show the results.
