Makup Shot

I did 7 hour makeup shoot the other day. In between regular makeup shooting, one of the models grabbed a hat and struck a pose for me.

Yes, 7 hours. This shoot was for a fashion designer who also happens to be a makeup artist. The shoot was originally going to be just to show her makeup, but she decided to have the models also pose with some of her latest fashion designs which happened to be lingerie. It turned out she had a lot of new designs to photograph. She had rented a room on one of the casinos here in the Las Vegas area for the shoot, and she was kind enough to provide lunch for the whole crew as well.

It was my first lingerie shoot, and it was a lot of fun.

In case anyone thinks I over processed the image by lightening the girls eyes and teeth, I want to let you know the only post processing I did to this image was to remove a mark from the hat. There was no skin smoothing, or lightening of anything on this shot. It is straight from the camera.

I have never seen anyone with such white teeth and eyes.

Yes, it was. When I left they were just starting to do airbrush work on the models. They had another photographer who was going to photograph the airbrush art work.

I was pooped after the 7 hours. I shot over 600 images, and I was constantly shooting from kneeling on the floor, standing up, and then standing up on top of the bed shooting down. I really got my workout for the day.
