I've been wanting to have a simple shoot without tons of strobes and gear. I contacted a local model on MM, and we set to it. This was all taken with just sunlight. It was nice to be portable and not spend my time metering things and moving lights around.
Yeah I know some have harsh shadows and are slightly over baked. See a few more on Flickr: jgunder's Photostream ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking __________________

Nice Josh.
Maybe a bit underexposed, even w the reflector. For a guy who took some time to recruit MM models, you've got all cylinders firing now. Every one has been pretty too. Keep going!!! EDIT--- just saw your flickr set and they look better exposed on my iPad. Weird but she's gorgeous there too. |

![]() These are really pretty. A little more light in her face is all I would suggest as well, except on #5, the little bit of her arm showing should either be cropped out or more included, imo. Also, if you load your pictures in a gallery here on the camel, and then copy and paste the link, you can number them so it's easy to comment on particular ones without having to count them. Nice work! |

Now that a few days have passed since my initial bulk processing session I can see what you guys mean. Her face is underexposed in some of these. It's interesting how an image can look just fine on your first pass, but if you don't look at it for a few days and come back with fresh eyes you can notice issues with it. Maybe I shouldn't always rush to process the day of the shoot. I just get excited.
I'll bring these back into Lightroom and adjust exposure a bit on her face and then update them on Flickr. When I'm done the changes should be reflected in the original post. As far as reflectors, I had a nice big one, but the guy using it, (her escort), had never used one before, and even with instruction and coaching he missed the mark on a few shots. I can't fault him for it, he was nice and very willing to help. Thanks for looking, Josh |
