I think I prefer the B&W it adds some detail to necklace that was lost in the color.* Maybe just a bit more contrast but that's it. I think it adds something to this pic.* Great shots.

Thanks wolfy, I was kind of leaning towards the B&W, but it always helps getting a 2nd 3rd 4th........ opinion

I like the color version. If the mono version had more detail, I might like it better. The skin in the color version has a lot of this transition color detail that I think is important with high key pictures. In terms of improving the B&W, maybe it isn't so much a change in the processing, but maybe a tight crop. I hate to say that - I'm usually not a fan of the crop after the fact. I guess I'm saying it's a balance thing, the color version has more balance.

I would go with the B&W. It just fits better. The color one seems a little more washed out with the high key color.

B&W works much better in this case.
With highkey I always prefer B&W or VERY selective coloring.

Default High Key Question

Is there a special technique to shot with a later high key picture in mind or do you shot as usual and the rest is photoshop?

Cheers, Felix

I prefer B&W between these two, but a color version might work better depending on hue and saturation. How about re-posting #2 with the saturation reduced and the hue pushed toward the blue a little?

I prefer the color one myself, it has a touch of sepia look to me. I like sepia photos.

I'm a fan of high key, so that one is easy.
Altough I like the colored version very much.
Great picture(s).

Thanks guys for all the positive comments and help it's greatly appreciated

Felix nothing special to the shot technique just overexposed a bit and the rest done in PP (RAW) and then tweaked in PS, hope that helps,
SF thanks for commenting again and for giving very handy tips as well, I'll have a look at it and definitely post #2 again with your ideas.
