Default Haven't posted in a while....

But that's mainly because I have actually found some more models to take pictures of.*
How do you guys find time to shoot and edit pictures, and still post on here regularly?

I make a point of lurking to see what's going on (and just in case Lorek posts some more pics* ), but rarely find the time to join in the disccussions.

Anyway, I thought I would share some pics from my shoot with kira. Starting to rebuild my confidence in the studio, and I was happy with my results. But then again how could you not take a pretty picture of Kira.
Comments welcome. I am always happy to learn what I might have done differently.

The whole Kira series is great The #2 shot with the reflection of the screen in her eyes. Is there any way to avoid that problem? I run into that all the time.

These are awesome shots! I like them all. Good lighting in a variety of situations. And Kira is a gorgeous model. Let's see more!

I guess you are referring to the square shaped catchlight caused by the softbox.
I hadn't picked up on it, but now you mention it the sharp edges are out of place.

I would love to hear other people's solutions but I am thinking of cutting myself a blackout mask with an oval opening to fit to the front of the softbox, just to knock the square corners off.
anybody think that would work?

Use an octobox, ringlight or dish, though cutting a shaped flag ought to work also. It'll need to be black, I'd suggest using black foamcore.

I really like these images overall, elegant and simplistic.

I post-whore here while batches are running.

she's certainly easy on the eyes. i like the use of highlights in the first one on the black. would have liked to have seen just a bit more taste of that in the first close-up.

Very nice images, beautiful eyes. Not as fond of the last two (just my taste) but #1 & 3 get my vote
