I've ordered a green-screen chroma-key background, stand, softbox, and umbrella lighting for the future.
I know I didn't do so well, but once I get some equipment, I'll be better situated.
She was only a couple feet from a white wall... direct (difused) flash... and a ton of time in Photoshop (extracting).

It's a good example of what I need help on. It appears that her lips are chapped. I'm afraid I don't have the photoshop skills to improve the looks of her lips. If anyone out there has a method I would like to hear from you. I just have never figured out how to correct this kind of a problem. D50 1/250 f5.6 ISO 200 bounce flash.

Denise was fun to work with. She is a runner and wanted a few outdoor shots prior to shooting in the studio. She ran 15 miles the day before and 3 miles the morning of the shoot.

Back at the studio we had a good time... everything was shot with a 22" beauty dish on boom and reflectors here and there.

Should have paid more attention to several things... but... all in all... I think the shots turned out pretty decent. She liked them...which is a good thing... LOL

I recently did some headshots for one of my favorite models. She needed a headshot for a pageant she is involved in.

Image #1 is the original frame from the shoot. It's retouched a bit but mostly just resized and sharpened. Image # 2 is the same shot "professionally" processed through Portrait Professional. I backed way off the original PP settings but I've been torched on here before for overprocessing my stuff so my question here is:

In your opinion (humble or otherwise) is image # 2 overprocessed?
