Very nice. I opted out this year. This was the first 4th with my new cat and I wasn't sure how'd she react to explosions. We have a couple displays that can be heard from my place. She was fine, so I'll be going next year.

Thanks for the compliment! Always better off playing it safe with a new pet. We usually turn up the tv or radio hoping they might just think it's nothing out of the ordinary.

Nice variety of scenes. I spoze it's the slow shutter
times that bring out the blue sky ? I only do it every
few years, given that I avoid crowds and traffic, but
I was in a club only a block from the NY State show
last week so I walked over, but stayed about 100 yd
shy of the coveted ground directly under the show.
They do let folks gather there and it's tightly packed
humanity ! There was just a few dozen peeps where
I shot this one, no streaks or blue sky at 1/60 sec:

Thanks Golem! I like the perspective of your shot! I try to avoid the crowds myself, seems like there is always some kids running around not aware of your tripod. Luckily where I set up this year, there wasn't very many people at all.
