Default Longleat Lights 2017

Views of this year's Longleat Christmas lights from the Heaven's Gate viewpoint about a mile from the house.
Intend to visit the site in a couple of weeks with Daughter and Grandson.

like these they are neat. But to bring out some detail in the dark areas would be good I think. Perhaps a 3-5 layer quasi-HDR in PS or Elements bringing down the lights a stop, and increasing the dark a couple stops?

The first one kind of suffers a bit from what Didereaux mentioned above, but the second one doesn't to me. That one is super crisp and stands alone as a really nice image.
